Polar ice to save world's water problems
Engineer Gamid Khalidov from Dagestan has developed the project "Living Water", which is to provide fresh and ecologically pure water to countries and regions, that suffer from the lack of it. The plan is to develop a method to produce water from the ice in Antarctica, Greenland and Alaska, where 2/3 of the planet's fresh water reserves are concentrated. Some scientists have already thought about the possibility of delivering water in the form of icebergs. Even ideas about transporting icebergs from Antarctica to Saudi Arabia have been put forward.
