"APARC" Rescue System
 

In the sphere of air passengers' conveyance are offered inventions and technologies ensuring a new qualitative level of safety and rescue of passengers in case of an airplane crash.

The work on increase of flight safety of is being carried out all over the world. But still airplanes crash for this or that reason, causing losses of life. From the beginning of time of air passengers conveyance, a passenger has been a passive participant of flight and entrusted his life to the crew and airplane. The offered system of air passengers rescue breaks this direct interrelation and gives both air passengers and airplanes' crew an opportunity not to share the fate of a disabled airplane.

An aircraft passenger autonomous rescue capsule - APARC, as a part of passenger salon, is embedded in a fuselage. A passenger saloon may consist of several capsules. In places of attaching wings to a fuselage, along the fuselage and round the fuselage between its fore part and the pilot cabin, capsules and the rear part of the fuselage, are embedded devices - elongated hollow charges, blasting of which (using electric detonator) will execute almost instantaneous exploding cutting of the fuselage and its skin. This will lead to the detachment of the rescue capsules with the sitting inside passengers from the airplane. Then with the help of the parachute braking system the rescue capsules perform soft landing. This is the last individual-group border of protection and rescue of passengers, coming into operation when the crew and airplane have lost ability to cope with an emergency situation.

Creating universal computer programs at "artificial intelligence" level on the basis of high-capacity airborne electronic computer systems, able to evaluate situation independently or jointly with the crew, to give recommendations to pilots, to inform ground services and if necessary to make independent decision about disintegration of the airplane and further evacuation, will reduce to zero chances of terrorists and hijackers to achieve their objective.

The absolute autonomy and capability within one second to release a parachute, having started active self-braking, allow to rescue passengers even at extremely low altitudes during take-off and landing. Made of durable, heat-resistant and light composite materials, the capsule can rescue passengers from fire and smoke, can amortize a hit, stay afloat in water. After landing (or splashing down) of the capsule, will be activated all-necessary emergency communication and signaling facilities, means for life support.

Today and tomorrow the most important for an air passenger will be guarantees of saving his life. If some airplanes will be able to do this better than others, then this will ensure strong demand for these airplanes and their high competitive strength. Especially taking into account that an expected rise in the cost will not exceed 7-8 % of an airplane production cost.
